Lympsham Manor Hall is
our village hall and is a charming Victorian building placed
in the heart of the village. The external neo-gothic architecture
is carried on inside, with wooden panelling, stone carvings
and a wonderful arched ceiling. The Hall has a small stage
and is fitted with an induction loop system for the hard-of-hearing.
Access into the Hall is easy from the nearby car park, with
no steps to negotiate.
Those wishing to cater for a function in the Hall can also
hire the kitchen with its domestic sized cooker, sink and
crockery and cutlery, and tables and chairs are of course
available. The Hall is cool in summer and warm in winter,
with newly installed infra-red heaters.
The Hall is currently used by the school during normal
school hours but is otherwise available for hire bookings
may be for just an hour or two, or longer, and may be for
a whole day. Recent bookings have included wedding reception,
wedding anniversary parties, birthday parties for both young
and old, pantomime, jumble sales, bingo, quiz nights, line
dancing, Scottish reel classes, Pilates classes, as well
as regular meetings of village groups.
