The men's section of the Royal British Legion was formed more than 50 years ago and, at present, includes the former Bleadon and East Brent branches.

We meet quarterly in the Sports Pavilion, but hold our AGM in the Manor Hall, normally in October.

Our current Chairman is John Stirk who, with the Committee, arranges a varied programme for the year: we usually hold two lunches a year, plus a couple of fun quiz evenings.

In July we have an ‘away day’ which this year will be a trip to Exmouth and, of course, there is the annual flower show held in August, now under the watchful eye of Robin Leveridge and his team of helpers.
