Surgery Times

Open surgery - please ring the surgery from 8.30 am, Monday to Friday, if you wish to see a doctor. An appointment time will be given to you for the same day.

Appointments – there are pre-bookable appointments available to arrange health care at your convenience.

Closed - the surgery is closed from 1 pm to 2 pm on Tuesdays and from 12.30 pm to 2 pm on Fridays.

Home Visits

Requests for home visits should normally be made before 10.30 am. For emergencies please telephone the surgery and make it clear you need an urgent visit. When requesting a home visit the doctor may wish to speak to you by telephone first allowing you to discuss the problem in more detail.

Test Results

Please ring the surgery after 11.30 am or after 4.30 pm for your results.

Prescriptions

We dispense medication to the majority of our patients, except for those who live within one mile of a chemist, in which case prescriptions must be dispensed by a chemist.

If you are on regular medication it is not always necessary for you to see the doctor for each repeat.

To order a repeat prescription/medication please either leave a written request or telephone the surgery on its dedicated prescription line – 01278 760010, Monday to Friday, allowing 48 hours for your medication/prescription to be processed. At busy times you may hear an answer machine message, please try again later.

Please collect your medication/prescription after 2 pm, Monday to Friday.
